Now in its thirty-first year, Yateley
Choral Society is at the forefront of choral singing in
Hampshire. Since its inception, the Society's aim has been to achieve
an exceptionally high standard in the singing of the major choral works,
as well as the lesser-known pieces and occasional music. The Society
calls
upon its resources to engage full symphony orchestras, together with
soloists
from the major British opera houses, including Covent Garden and English
National Opera.

Most of our concerts take
place in Yateley, but we have also given performances in Southwark Cathedral
and at Eton College and have toured to Bruges, Belgium. Our members
come from a wide area, drawn by the sheer enjoyment of performing great
music and the challenge of hard work at regular rehearsals, under the enthusiastic
guidance of our Musical Director, Rufus Frowde.
